Complaints and feedback

We welcome feedback and take concerns seriously. Raising a complaint will not adversely affect the care or service you receive.

How to contact us

You can raise a concern verbally or in writing by calling 0191 640 1095, emailing admin@golden-cords.co.uk, or writing to Golden Cords Limited, 41 Chapel Place, Seaton Burn, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE13 6EX. A representative, family member or advocate may complain on someone’s behalf with appropriate authority.

What happens next

We will acknowledge the concern, explain who is handling it and investigate fairly. We will keep you informed, respond in an accessible format and explain the outcome and any action taken. Anonymous concerns will be considered as far as reasonably possible.

If you remain dissatisfied

Ask us to explain the next stage of our complaints process. Complaints about adult social care may also be considered by the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman after the provider has had an opportunity to respond.

Tell CQC about care

CQC welcomes feedback about care but does not normally resolve individual complaints. You can tell CQC about an experience of care. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
