Raising a concern

If you are worried about the conduct of our service, contact us immediately on 0191 640 1095 or admin@golden-cords.co.uk. We will listen, take the concern seriously and follow our safeguarding procedures.

Immediate danger

Call 999 if someone is in immediate danger or a crime is in progress. For a non-emergency police matter, call 101. You can also contact the adult safeguarding team at the local council responsible for the area where the person lives.

Speaking independently

You may share an experience or concern directly with the Care Quality Commission. You do not have to give CQC your name, although contact details may help it take action.

Our approach

We aim to respond proportionately, preserve evidence, respect the person’s wishes and involve appropriate safeguarding or emergency services when required. Information may be shared without consent where necessary to protect someone from serious harm or meet a legal obligation.
