Live-in care can provide continuity and reassurance while allowing someone to remain in their own home. It is not continuous one-to-one waking care, so working time, breaks, sleeping arrangements and any night-time needs must be agreed clearly.
Before care begins, we take time to understand needs, routines, preferences, risks and desired outcomes. Support is then recorded in an agreed care plan and reviewed when circumstances change.

We assess the person’s needs and the home environment, including suitable accommodation, facilities, working arrangements, breaks, emergencies and any separate overnight support required.

No. Live-in care includes agreed working time, rest and breaks. Frequent waking-night needs may require a different or additional arrangement.
A suitable private sleeping space and appropriate household facilities are normally required. We discuss practical arrangements during assessment.
