PERSON-CENTRED SUPPORT

Support shaped around
what matters to you.

Respite arrangements are built around the existing routine so the person receiving support can remain in familiar surroundings while their usual carer takes time away.

Before care begins, we take time to understand needs, routines, preferences, risks and desired outcomes. Support is then recorded in an agreed care plan and reviewed when circumstances change.

WHAT SUPPORT CAN INCLUDE

Practical help,
delivered with dignity.

Every care arrangement is individual. Following assessment, support may include:

Personal care and daily routines
Companionship and meaningful activity
Meal and hydration support
Medication support where assessed and agreed
Daytime, evening or overnight arrangements
Short-term scheduled support according to availability
WHO IT MAY HELP

Is this support suitable?

Respite care may support family members or unpaid carers who need planned time away while maintaining safe, familiar support for the person they care for.

HOW WE WORK

Safe and clearly planned

We complete an assessment before respite begins, even when the arrangement is short term. Responsibilities, routines, emergency contacts and escalation procedures are agreed clearly.

Can respite be provided overnight?
